I finished Fallout 3 last night. It's well and truly done because there's no 'after the end' gaming. Why? Well, let's just say the ending is rather permanent. >_< Thankfully I have a save point before the final quest starts, so I can go hopping around and finishing up what few minor quests remain.

All in all I enjoyed the game very much. However, after a certain point it got rather dull. You can only kill things so much before getting bored. I also maxed out my levels and had waaay too much ammo, so I didn't bother investigating locked doors or hacking computers for XP and supplies. My fault I guess. I also never used my Fat Boy Mini-nuke because I was saving it for 'a special occasion'. Le sigh.

I cleaned the kitchen on Saturday. It wasn't your typical cleaning. Oh no. It was a move the microwave cleaning. Sadly it took all of my productive strength so I never got around to the bathrooms. Ugh.

I'm still tired, and listless. I don't want to be at work, but I don't feel like being at home either. Again, ugh.

I got the job. ^_^

I start Thursday. I was supposed to start Wednesday, but I have tickets to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Ah well. They're willing to work with me. I'll only be doing paperwork on Thurs, so either Friday or Saturday will be my first real day. The dress code is pretty decent too. Jeans/khakis/black pants, black/white/brown/gray shirts, and white sneakers. I can dig it.

It looks like I'll be working the register, which is fine with me. I'll have to spend some time getting to know the store since I'll be the easier person to find and ask questions.

I'm so glad. I can breathe a little easier now.

Much love. Snape would make a great DM. ^_^

Oh, D*C Roomies! Barry said that he will be attending in all likelihood. That being said, we'll have 9 people split between two rooms. I'm no longer bringing a friend (remember Drama Mama?). I know Pat said that he might be bringing a friend, but atm I'm going for just our group. That puts our rate for worst case scenario at $175 per person for the weekend (Thursday-Monday morning). We'll work on the splitting of spaces later. As always, couples get bed space first.

Why am I bringing this up now? Because I need the money before the con. >_< I know a few of you always pay me in advance anyway, but normally it doesn't matter. This year it will because the total room price is $1564.00 (est). Yeah, I don't have a credit card that big. I'll have to pay cash, and since I'm always there at the crack of dawn on Thursday, I won't see any of you beforehand. So I just wanted to give everyone a super huge heads up so that when I remind you several months from now you won't freak.

With the PT job I'll be getting my reg as soon as I hit the required $400 in savings. Oh, and I've decided to drop out of the Dawn running for this year because I really need to be putting my extra cash into the wedding. However, Mrs. Black and Swedish Chef are still on the table.
