It's not even 2009 and I've already spent my vacation time. >_<

I get 15 days of time off (3 weeks) since I'll be hitting my 5 year mark soon. Between getting married and conventions I've used them all up. Good thing I still have sick and I can earn PTO from unpaid overtime.

Break it down now!
Roundcon - 1 day (or possibly a half day)
Katsucon - 3 days
ConCarolinas - 1 day
LowCoCon - 1 day (I'd like to take more, but we'll see)
Dragoncon - 2-3 days
Wedding - 6 days (Friday to prep and one week for the honeymoon)
*TBA meet up with Patti and Steph at some point in the spring - 1 day

Ugh. Well at least I know what I need to do for the year. lol!

I made soap this weekend. Wow, I actually did something I said I was going to do!! Anyway, I had to throw out more fragrance oils. I hate doing it, but they're only good for a short period of time. I thought about not making soap for Christmas presents this year since I'd have to restock a fair bit, but it's still cheaper than trying to buy something for everyone. Plus I've always loved home made presents. They always have a touch of love. Aw! Everyone knows it's not the money, it's the time spent. ^_^

As I was going through the weekend's receipts I saw that we had charge from 'Wallace West'. After going 'Feh, I know he has everyone call him Wally' my brain jumped to 'usakochan would get a kick out of that. We sold furniture to the Scarlet Speedster'. At that point, my brain jumped again to this thought...

How far would I go to meet someone who just happened to have the same name as a fictional character?

Obviously they wouldn't be anything like the character. Seriously, what would the odds be? John Stewart from TV and John Stewart the GL are so different I can't even picture the flesh JS in a GL suit. Oh wait, there it is. O_O

Anyway, I doubt I'd go a hun'in for Bruce Wayne. I think...*sign* Yes I would. I'm so pathetic! If I flip for a dude in a costume who I KNOW is not the real Batman, then I'd certainly take the time to see if some random guy looks even a little like the man behind the mask.
