Updating on the weekend? Holy crap!

Yeah, I usually don't mess with the computer much, but Barry is playing Persona3 and I don't feel like actually doing anything. ^_^

Inventory was...interesting. It actually wasn't bad compared to past years. With the new server (same program but much faster) we were able to compile and print all the reports the night before and still leave before 6pm. Usually the boss and warehouse manager are there till 9pm the night before, then we'd have to print the reports the morning on. Not this time. We actually started counting at 8am, finished by 11am, and completed the data entry just before 2pm. Last year we were still typing at 5pm. Ugh. We also got the massive report books done for Monday. Unlike the warehouse that only needs one set divided between a few people, the floor inventory is done in sections by teams. Therefore they have to have a FULL inv. list with them. Double ugh. Thankfully I'm teamed with a fast counter this year.

I applied at Michael's today, which is good timing because they're starting calls this week for the seasonal people. I got good vibes, so I'll cross my fingers and see. Worse come to worse, I'll go begging at Best Buy for a job. At least all the stuff there is too expensive for me to buy. Good thing lusting after things is free.

I think I should get something to eat. I haven't eaten since 8am and I'm feeling weird. Blaaaah.
