Actually I'm already at work, but I needed something catchy. ^_^
So far so good. I stopped taking the heavy pain meds on Friday, so it's finally out of my system. I don't feel like I'm walking in a fuffy blur, but I'm also not getting a decent night's sleep. Sucky trade off. I'm taking the last of the anti-inflammatory pills today, and will be popping over-the-counters if any pain shows up.
I've gotten a few 'Oh I TOTALLY knew you weren't coming in last week' comments. Apparently my co-workers are well versed in my wussiness. Heh. I still feel bad about missing so much work. Kim and Evy had to take up my slack. Thankfully this has only happened twice...buuuuut both of those have been this year (Feb after Katsu and now). I gotta let Kim know this is in no way a habit. Must kiss boss' ass!
B and I are still going to NJ this weekend for Grandpa's 80th birthday. It'll be hard to stay in good spirits, but I've got to try for his sake. He's such a sweet guy.
Other than that it's business as usual. Barry's playing Ptolis tonight at the Dragon, so I'll be flying solo. Hopefully that will make me do something other than play Oblivion. Sooooo addicted. I started playing it to get my mind off my teeth. Worked a little too well if you ask me!
