Finally heard back from Ron at CC about if I could work the con along with entering the costume contest. He said that it wasn't a problem since I wasn't working in the costume track, therefore wouldn't have contact with the judges. Woot! Glad I bought those new lights for my pack. ^_^

We're trying to find someone to share a room with. We *could* afford a room on our own, but it would be nice if we found space with another group. I only have $300 for the whole trip and I'd like some of it to go to the Dealers Room instead of gas/room/food. Ugh.

Barry is going to start teaching me how to run AT-43 so that I can help at his table. I'm glad there isn't much I want to do at the con because I'm going to be busy! Between vol-time for a free reg, working the table, and the contest, I won't have much solo time. I'm going to ask if I can do most of my vol-time on Friday since B doesn't run anything that day. They've got him doing three demos over two days, which isn't bad except the demos last 4 hours each. Essentially he'll be at the tables for the entire con. Good thing he's getting in for free...

I'm still debating on if I should take Umbridge or not. There is a HP trivia group attending, but I have no idea if they're in costume or just running a game. Hmm...
