Wig troubles part 2

I took the curlers out of the wig this morning. It made no difference. The wig is just as straight as it was before. The only difference is that now it has two scorch lines from the steamer. I got most of it out this morning, but got a burned thumb in exchange. *grumble* So I'm back at square one. I'm going to hit Katie Blair's forum later for tips and possibly a plea for help.

Btw, Burt's Bee Res-Q Ointment for burns doesn't work. Bah!

I'm seriously considering just dying my hair blue for the con, then dying it back when I get home. Grr!!

When I get home tonight I'm going to clean the bathroom, put away the laundry I washed last night, and attempt to wrangle in my costume supplies. The entire dining room and part of the living room has been taken over. I swear that stuff multiplies when I'm not looking...*slinks off pouting*
