I'm older. Wee.

First, a belated b-day greeting to haruka_kou. I really will have that box in the mail for you this week! Really!!

My weekend was nice, but it disappeared incredibly fast. Friday we went food shopping and only spent $30! Shock!! Saturday was laaaazy. I only left the house to walk the roomie's dog and get the mail. I did get some cleaning done, but not a lot. Erin also came to see me. I got a super-sweet handmade felted bag. OMG so cute! But I'm afraid to use it because I don't want it damaged. lol!

Sunday was fun too. Woke up around 8, played Animal Crossing till 11ish, then went to the 'rents house with Barry for a nummy lunch of steak and black bean salsa. Mom also made molten chocolate cake with fresh strawberries. Heaven! After that we went home, took a nap, and then I went out. B wasn't up for it, so I hit the streets solo. Swung around to all my favorite stores (um, there's only 3 of them) and tried to spend my b-day money, but failed so I went to O'Charlies to harrass my roomie. I ended up getting a 'free' lunch and cake, but gave a $20 to the roomie as a 'tip'.

Other than that it's been a quiet b-day. M&D got me a sweet hand mixer. It's so retro! Barry got me GTA:Liberty City Stories and then immediately worried that it wasn't the right gift. I assured him that it as and promptly played for an hour. ^_^ (apparently he had it sitting out for 2 days unwrapped and I never noticed. Even after cleaning!) David from work got me a gift card for BB&B, which will be spent on my lunch break. I want to find one of those sandwhich makers. Those rock for grilled cheese! Lastly, my g-parents rock hardcore. They send money every year. Between them and the bits I've been squirling up I'll be able to pay off a credit card once I deposit everything later today. SO HAPPY! Plus I'll still be able to get a s-load of manga (10 atm), and some crafty stuff. Can't beat that!

Fluffy goodness

The boss brought back the cake we sent him over the weekend. It's HUGE, so it's no wonder he didn't want to eat it all himself. It's covered with rolled icing (the technical name escapes me), and it's so sweet I can hardly eat it. I ended up prying most of it off, but it was still good.

I went to BB&B on my lunch break and bought myself a sandwhich maker. I can't wait to get home and fire it up. I also saw that World Market was having a 50-75% off sale, so of course I had to go. I bought 2 floor cushions and a new cushion for my papasan. My fat butt will be quite comfy while vegging tonight!

Lastly, animegamers.com came through for me. About 2 months ago I ordered the last of the Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar trading figures. After a lot of waiting, calling, emailing, bitching and whining, I got another confirmation. They should be sent out this week. I ordered 15 at $1 a piece so I damn well better finish my set. Heck, I should have a whole second set too! But chances are I won't, however that won't matter. All I'm really after is the full-figure Saga and Salt. It would be nice to have an extra Pepper or three. ^_^

Speaking of which, I won't be cosplaying at D*con. So sad I know, but all the costumes I would finish in time are rather lame. Bah, oh well!
