Suck-tastic Halloween
Oct. 31st, 2005 09:30 amNo parties this year...again. Not that I would have been able to go to any. Stupid work. I swear, I just need to throw my own. Ah well, maybe I'll dress up for the snot-goblins tonight. Or maybe I'll just hole up in my room and play Half Life till I pass out.
'Why so mood?' you ask? Because when I came into work this morning I found out that our server is in ICU with little hope of surviving. So now we're sans server. This is very bad. We still have storis (our ordering program) and internet, but no email. Also, only a few printers work and they're all in the back office. This means that anytime anyone wants something printed they're coming to me. You may think this isn't a big deal, but it is. Have you ever had 15 whiney sales people harassing you over and over and over again? I haven't been here for more than an hour and I'm already wanting to kill people. Oh! And I woke up with a massive headache so this is the perfect topper. All I want is to curl up with Barry and sleep the day away. Is that so much to ask? *cries*
