Man, this weekend sucked total ass. Big old stinky donkey ass.
1) I almost quit Lowes. Seriously. I've had it with a certain supervisor and her 'I'm better than you' attitude. She can go *#&$@ herself. I was sick the entire time and all she did was ride me like I was a ferris wheel. Highlight: She yelled at me for setting my watch...WTF?!? I also was yelled at by a customer because I asked for his id when he used a credit card. He shouted 'I'm a card-carrying member of SLED (SC law enforcement)'. I was like 'Then you know how bad credit card fraud is'. Ms. Bitch strolls by and acts like it's my fault for enforcing store policy and lets him go. Then chews me out! To top it off I didn't get to leave till 30 min after my shift was done (10am-7pm). *grumble* Needless to say I'm looking for a new PT job. However, I'm not leaving this one till I do. I may be silly, but I'm not stupid.
2) Gas prices blow. They went from $2.19 to $2.43 in 4 days. Hell, it jumped 0.07 cents this morning alone. Cripes! It made me think. If I sold my car I could afford to live in West Ashley. Therefore I could walk/bike to work and everywhere else I need to go. The mall and the supermarket are spitting distance from work. And I'd be saving $600+ a month ($310 car, $200 insurance, $100ish gas). *sigh* But there's no way I'd get what I need to pay it off. It's worth $6,000 and I owe $10,000. *curse* Hell, if I could get rid of the car I could easily dump Lowes. I'd live with Barry and we could carpool. Yah, that would be the life.
I finally finished the sorceress x-stitch I've had going for over a year. I wanted to work on a fairy that was close to being done, but I can't find the pattern. She's going to be put away till it turns up. Next on the list is a quilt/butterfly x-stitch that I started for Mom. Painfully easy, but a stick in the butt since you're changing threads every 2 seconds. Ah well, it's something to do.
