Dead Computer, day 4

Well, apparently the IT doctors couldn't save my baby. The entire Hd is crap. None of my files could be saved. *whine!* So now I have to start from scratch and rebuild. That sucks. I won't get my compy back till later this afternoon. *more whining*

I also mourn the beating the Steelers got yesterday. I mean, really. I hate New England! They've gone to the Super Bowl enough. They need to learn how to share. And an all PA Bowl would have been neat. Poor Steelers. *cries*

Had a fairly pleasant weekend. Didn't do much other than bake and play games. It passed way too quickly for my taste.

Totally Creepy

I was going through my daily online comics when I got to No 4th Wall. He had this link up to this strange situation. It involved three guys who knew each other a few years back. One of them was a little off while the other two were pretty normal. The off guy ended up shooting a couple in a diner then killing himself. One of the normal guys decideds to find out what's going on, and he disappears. The last guy then goes hunting for the second guy. It's all connected to this house, but it's never said if it's haunted or what. There is some talk that it's a 'venus fly-trap' house that pulls people in and someone ends up killing them. I have no idea, but I'm seriously drawn to it. Strangly enough, things start at the beginning of Sept last year, and end at the end of October. That's it. There isn't any more. So what happened? Did the third guy disappear too? It's really crazy. It could be a hoax, but for some reason I believe it. I've got chills. I couldn't stop reading these emails. I got busted so I didn't get the livejournal, but I did get a look at the last entry date where they talked about getting supplies to go into the house with. It was October 31. Lame spooky I know, but it was almost 3 months ago. There should have been another update or something! Does anyone else know about this?

Yup, it was fake. The 'author' said in a blog comment that it wasn't real. Man, he had me going. Maybe it's b/c I don't have enough excitement in my life. Who knows, but this guy did good work. I totally see a movie coming out of this. Read it anyway, it's good. ^_^

ps, part of me is relieved. it was pretty creepy.
