Why do I live here?

South Carolina is the weirdest state ever. This morning while driving to work I heard an ad on the radio for selling trucks. It's big promo was that you would get a 12 gauge shotgun and hunting boots with any new or used truck purchase. A gun and boots. For the love of Kami-sama, what are these people thinking?!?

"Congratulations son. You've got your first truck, a back-up pair of boots, and your fourth gun!"
"Gee thanks Dad. I'll kill a lot of deer this year!"
*insert big 'leave it to beaver' smiles and male bonding while the women are at home baking pies and skinning rabbits*

I hate this state sometimes.

Another odd thing I noticed. We get this catalog from LTD Commodities every few months. Good deals on some cool stuff, but once in a while the most freakish stuff sneaks in. Case in point...

An LTD Exclusive! With an elf helping Santa and Snowman to get up the lighted, brick-style wooden 22" chimney, this bathroom accent is one very merry addition to any holiday décor.
