I was the president of the Japanese club at CofC last year. It fell apart and hardly anyone wanted to help me out other than to come to showings and parties. My "officers" never responded to my calls/emails and were really unreliable. As president I offered to do joint meetings, etc. with the yahoo group, but it was dead at the time.
That says nothing of the Japanese club itself I know, but I had a better time being a member than the president. -.-"
