The wasted weekend

Barry did well. He was pretty sore afterwards, and he barely slept. He's going to see the doctor this morning about the follow up/remove of tubes and such. Hopefully he'll be able to sleep lying down tonight. And yes, I'm being vague for a reason.

The stitch-n-bitch never happened, and neither did the dinner with relatives. Ah well. I did some manga on sale on Sunday.

I really didn't do much else. I did finish the curtains and the last of the machine sewing for the duvet. I just need to put some snaps on now and it's finished.

I'm so sleepy.

Hmm... I don't think you ever specifically mentioned what kind of surgery he was having, but best of luck to him anyway.

Heh, don't feel too bad. I've had entire weeks slip away from me like that. (One of the lovely effects of having a job where there's sometimes no work for a month...)

I'm not clear on the details either, but it involved sticking hoses up his nose and lots of blood.

Yah, he's alright. He goes back to work on Thursday, so all he does now is sleep and goof off. ^_^

Did you get a new one? I thought your machine was stolen along with your car.

Mine stays in the laundry closet till I need it. Then it takes over the dining room table.

My tailor for babygodzilla's wedding gave me a cute retro green sewing machine! Lar was chatting to her about my crafty while I was getting dressed and she told me she had two she was getting rid of. :)
