Productive Weekend!
Let's see...Friday night was fairly mellow compared to what was coming. Went grocery shopping, visited M&D's place to check on the cat, and did a little bit of laundry.
I worked on Saturday, so I was able to do the backstitching on the wings of the x-stitch fairy I'm trying to finish. Dumbass me picked a fabric that was too small, so now it's damn hard to do the finishing steps. Ugh. Anyway, after work I went to see The Ruins with Dani and Dana. Meh, not really worth it. I mean, it was ok, but not as scary as I thought it would have been. We went to Bushido for dinner, which was good. I really over-ate but man was it good!! I think I found a new special place, but it really needs to be saved for special occasions.
Sunday we worked on the spare room some more. We're at the 'massive mess before the clean' part. All the boxes of misc stuff are unpacked and waiting to be either re-packed or shelved. I hit the mother load of otakudom in the very last box. Heaven forbid I found this stuff two weeks ago. Anyway, lots of Sailormoon, Badtz Maru, and dvds. TONS of dvds. ssfseiyakou is going to have a bunch of stuff for the LCM sale now. ^_^
We finally wound down around 8pm, then remembered that we have to empty out the lower cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms for the exterminator today. Ugh. I passed out some time around 9:30 after watching the redone Family Guy ep with James Woods. It was ok...
Now it's Monday. Boo!!! However, it's only a 4 day week for me because I'm taking Friday off. Woot! *Hopefully* the bookcases I ordered will be in so we can finish up the apt. I so desperately want that place clean!!
