Ugh, annoying

For some reason I can't focus my eyes today. Everything I see has a faint blur around it. Mind you I'm 3 years overdue for new glasses, so I'm 'used to it', but it just seems worse than usual today. Damned annoying is more like it. At least my head doesn't hurt from it. Another weird thing is my left hand (I'm right handed), and my right knee hurt/ache as well. Strange. At least I'll be able to get new glasses soon.

Speaking of which, I had the foresight (get it?) to up my medical spending account from $500 to $800. It covers any medical expences that insurance doesn't pay for, like glasses, dental work, etc. Plus it's tax free. Bonus! Sadly I have to wait till 9/1 or after to use the money, so no new glasses till after D*con. Boo!

Barry is taking me up to Columbia for sushi on Sunday. Yay! I love good sushi, but maybe I'll get lucky and they'll have authentic ramen. Yum!!

MMMMMMMM. Sushi!

Sucks about the eyes. I set up a FSA before I quit, I think I managed to put $30 in there, I should find out how to get it back. :P

Make it soon. FSA's usually don't roll over, so when the fiscal year ends it goes away.

Oooh..what's the fiscal year again?

Fiscal is the company's accounting year. For example, our fiscal year starts Sept 1st. It usually starts the month the company was formed. For bigger ones though they use the calander year just to keep things simple.

Ah interesting. Ironically, I got a letter in the mail saying that because I didn't respond in a timeframe, I gave up my rights and benefits? I didn't bother because they were asking me if I wanted to sign up for COBRA insurance (screw insurance!). I should really look into getting my FSA monies back..

Do it NOW since once the fiscal year ends it's GONE.
