To the costumers on my FList

I've been toying with the idea of setting up a sales table at cons for ages, usually to sell whatever craft I'm obsessed about at the moment. I realized that this wouldn't do well in the long run so I always let the idea go. However one thought always stuck. Costume supplies! But not just 'oh look a new pin for my Lolia dress' or something like that.
No, actual costume supplies. Repair kits, dancers' tights, nylons, hem tape, basic makeup, etc. Things that we all wish we had when we're an hour away from going on stage and we find out that something important is falling apart.
I'm incredibly aware that most high end costumers (or those paranoid like me) will have enough repair bits to fix everyone within arms reach. I remember one year bringing a soldering kit and spare LED's for goodness sake. Also said people are probably skilled enough not to make something that will get messed up easily. My store isn't for them.
I'm aiming for the casual costumer. I won't be stocking wigs or fully made costumes. I will however offer wig repinning and minor repairs depending on if I can bring my sewing machine.
So my question is this. Do you think there's a need for this? Or am I just wasting my time?
