I think I just hit a new level of "famous"

Please notice I used "quotes" around "famous". Anyway, I got an email from a con I've been asked/offered to attend as a panelist and judge. I'm sure the email was fairly standard and I'm reading waaaaay too much into it. The Sender was asking about my travel plans, need for a hotel room, and my green room requests.

I've never been asked this before. I've never thought of myself as anything more than a Special Con Attendee. The thought of being an actual Guest doesn't occur to me until something amazing happens. Example, I was in between panels as Nashi last year when Lauren gave me a fantastic gift basket. I had warm fuzzies all freaking day! :D

So this email really got my ego inflated. No I didn't ask for a bowl full of green M&M's or anything else equally interesting (just some fresh fruit). Honestly just the fact that someone cared enough to ask if I needed anything is enough for me. What can I say? I'm a cheap date. ^_^

Yeah I'm completely flattered by the email. I still think I'm putting too much into it since all she's asking is about munchies and travel plans. I'm no Yaya Han. Still, it is a little thrilling to know I'm getting a little special treatment. I have no idea what to expect though. Do you know who else was picked?

Yes, The Chainmail Chick and Angela, but Angela is still working on her travel plans. I'm trying to get Volpin/Harrison Krix as a prop judge/panelist, and I have one other person I keep forgeting to contact, or whom I did contact but they didn't get me back

Btw, I got them to agree that a contest prize can be a cameo in the con comic strip. I need more prizes though!
